HOMEMADE ICED TEA with HONEY
Making your own homemade iced tea is a great way to keep cool and stay hydrated.
Our simple, no-sugar recipe uses the natural sweetness of British Honey to create a delicious, refreshing drink. With no refined sugar at all, and no artificial sweeteners that you will find in many off-the-shelf iced tea products.
Using honey as a natural sweetener for your summer drinks - alcoholic cocktails or mocktails - is a great way to add flavour with a hint of sweetness, without making them overly sugary.
For us, British Honey is simply the best natural sweetener ingredient you will find.

Follow these tips for refreshing homemade iced tea. We use a 1 Litre jug:
• Black, Orange Pekoe or Earl Grey Tea (Hibiscus for a caffeine free alternative)
• Freshly sliced lemons
• Fresh mint leaves
• Ice
• British Honey (Borage, Wiltshire Wildflower, Cotswold Honeys all work nicely)
• Brew the tea first.
Add the tea to hot water in a heat-safe jug or pan.

• Sweeten the tea while it’s hot (but not just boiled)
